What I liked

I loved working in the service industry, I got to meet so many new people. Part of my job greeting guests and organizing a waitlist left me with time to chat with guests. With the tourism aspect of Sedona everyday I seemed to meet someone from a new place. I also really enjoyed the fast paced environment, it meant I always had something to do. Furthermore, all my co-workers were very hardworking, and we were definitely all a team.

What I wish was different

I wish it would have worked out to continue this employment opportunity while still going to university, but unfortunately the hours were not condusive to my student schedule.

Advice

Always work towards making connects with supervisors, managers, and other your co-workers. It makes it easier to get through the days with difficult guests, and it opens you up to more opporunities within the restaurant and the company.
