I really enjoyed the mentoring aspect of this internship.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been more interns; It could get a little lonely in a new city for such a short period of time.
Advice
Take charge of your internship education with CASE. Don't be afraid to ask to do more of something you're interested in.

Advertising Sales Development Intern
June - August 2018 • Boston, MA
What I liked
It was a well-planned experience with lots of opportunities to explore my interests. They also provided me with networking opportunities and I got to visit DC.
What I wish was different
At my placement I was given a lot of busy work. I feel like my supervisors didn’t quite know what to give me to work on.
Advice
It’s a big time commitment, so consider that before you jump in.

Intern
May - July 2019 • Washington, DC
What I liked
The area offered great opportunities for enriching one's intellect through visiting museums, taking breaks at a pond, or getting food outside of the building from a vendor. I enjoyed the environment that I got to work in and the team that allowed me to ask whatever I wanted and to participate in anything that I could reach.
What I wish was different
I worked at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine as their first CASE intern. I would have liked it to have been a little more structured.
Advice
The opportunity allows the world to be your oyster! Go on a donor visit if you can - it's a great opportunity.
