My favorite part of lifeguarding was being active, interacting and helping the patrons out. It was our job to keep everyone safe, but we also made it a fun environment for them to be in.
What I wish was different
It would have helped on the really hot or slow days for more of the workers to have had a positive attitude. I think it would have made those days a lot more enjoyable.
Advice
It is a great job for anyone who is trying to get their foot in the door of any sports or recreation type of job. It is also a super fun summer job that helps build interpersonal skills and boosts your confidence! I recommend it for anyone who likes activity in their work.
