Meeting the kids and getting to help out in their learning spaces
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time to volunteer there and could continue it more consistently.
Advice
Working with young kids can be extremely tiring and requires a lot of patience, but building a strong team of staff members can help with that. Additionally, learning how to teach well to various age groups is an extremely important and valuable skill that can be applied in many other fields of work, not just education.
