Strong mentorship, many learning opportunities as an in-person intern (developing data analysis skills for research project, assisting with ongoing study visits, joining department research meetings, etc.), and supportive community!
What I wish was different
Would have appreciated opportunities in the workplace to meet other summer interns.
Advice
Use your network! I was able to have this incredible summer opportunity during the pandemic (in-person Summer 2021, previously virtual Summer 2020) through a mentorship relationship I had developed through my College's alumnae programming (to connect current students with alumnae).

What I liked
I really loved the people and the experience I had. I learned so much and would work there for the rest of my life no matter what.
