ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES
Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions (i.e. DTT, PECS, NET, etc.) to children with special needs in a 1:1 setting in the home, school, and community.
Collect accurate & reliable electronic and paper data for skill acquisition and problem behaviors daily
Work with BCBA and therapy team to implement treatment goals in all areas including self-help, independent living, gross/fine motor, language, etc.
Implement an individualized treatment plan as written and directed by a BCBA.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational opportunities.
Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
Follow ethical standards regarding behavioral modification
Collaborate with team members and maintain ongoing communication
