Working here was such a great experience! I felt like I could communicate freely with my coworkers and supervisors. It was a really accepting and supportive environment, and you could tell employees were valued highly.
What I wish was different
We were short-staffed at times because people called out, so I wish we had more people that fully committed to the job.

Events Intern
January - May 2017 • Chicago, IL
What I liked
This internship was one of my favorites throughout my time at DePaul University. Chicago Children's Museum not only helped me discover my future career aspirations, but cared about me as a young professional. They were always asking about ways they could support me in the internship and taught me new things to carry with me into my professional career. I owe a lot to my internship with them!
What I wish was different
Nothing!
Advice
Take advantage of this opportunity to learn, make mistakes (and improve from them), and grow!
