I was able to work directly with various zookeepers and partake in their everyday tasks and projects. It gave me a great insight into life as a zookeeper.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more exploratory opportunities within the internship.
Advice
This internship required a good amount of physical labor as well as working in all weather conditions. Be prepared to be outside most of the time!
