What I liked

My team. They were more than coworkers, we became a tight knit little family. Very supportive and encouraging towards one another.

What I wish was different

The way things ended. I didn’t only lose a job I really liked but I was also being pulled apart from great friends.

I wish the store hadn't closed down so I could come back for future breaks and summers!

Slow down and take your time. It's better to make sure you're doing things correctly rather than rushing through it and getting sloppy results.

What I liked

I loved the people there! I loved that my whole job revolved around being a team player and making people smile. Floor sets were always fun, and it was easily my most colorful job.

What I wish was different

Well. The company kind of went under, so that sucked. I wish upper management (like, UPPER upper management, my DM was great) listened to the stores more often. I also wish the wages were higher, but hey, that's retail for you...

Advice

It was all about being a team player-- communication was huge. No communication meant a lot of drama that we would have to clean up and it was a MESS. Work closely with your teammates and your experience will sparkle!
