The students I helped seemed more into learning than I expected them to be. The teachers also sat in and helped plan out a course of action for the student to practice.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to go more often than I do, but I have no transportation and a schedule that doesn’t work for it well enough to do so.
Advice
If you like to teach, or feel like you will be working with students or teenagers, volunteer to tutor and you’ll get to know them very well! Just make sure to be patient with them
