I liked working for a smaller company. It gave an intimate experience and wide range of work projects. I enjoyed expanding their employee website for new hire onboarding and planning a week of events to celebrate their award of best bank. I built a great network and learned so much from an awesome manager.
What I wish was different
Honestly, there wasn't anything I wanted to change. Luckily my internship was in person so I got the full experience. I had the luxury of talking with both the CEO and President multiple times throughout the summer.
Advice
Talk to everyone! Set up times or go up to someone and ask about their experience. I learned so much by having conversations with employees from almost all the departments. It was great way to learn about the company culture as well.
