I loved learning more about the services available for Hispanic immigrants in Louisville, and I learned a lot about how to bring these programs into rural areas of the Archdiocese of Louisville. I also liked my coworkers, who were very friendly, affirming, and supportive.
What I wish was different
I wish that my job description and expectations had been more clear, although this was the first time they had ever hired for this position.

I would advise people to reach out to their personal network when looking for internships and jobs, because that is how I found this opportunity.
