I liked that I got to work with some really fun, talented kids in an amazing location with an amazing view. All of the other staff members were very kind and really just wanted all the kids to have a great experience. As a Practice Supervisor, I got to see the skills of the kids improve throughout the duration of the camp and the final concert is the best way to end the camp and see the kids perform and show their progress. It was just a great experience to share my musical skills with the future generation of young musicians!
What I wish was different
The only thing that could help benefit this camp is more advertising! This is a great music camp for kids who want to learn how to play a string instrument!
Advice
One piece of advice I would give to people is, when working with kids, be patient, have fun and don't forget to smile! Opportunities like these are more about having fun while also giving the kids the ability to learn, grow, and be the best they can be.
