Virtual internship, very helpful, flexible, and learned a lot. Supervisor was awesome!
What I wish was different
The communication with supervisor was often lacking but we would always eventually touch base.
Advice
Do it and take it all in.

What I liked
I was a home attendant for a special needs child. I worked every week 2-3 times a week. I loved how hours were flexible based on recipient and I was able to work in the community with this person. They had autism and CP (cerebral palsy) in which case helps me with my planned career.
What I wish was different
I wish nothing had been different because I LOVED IT.
Advice
One piece of advice is to always love what you do and do it with passion if it's working with special needs children.
