My co-workers were very welcoming and friendly. Fortunately, my mentor assigned me a variety of tasks that let me dive into many different aspects of Software Engineering. Also, it was nice to have the opportunity to create production code.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been in more meetings and reached out to other co-workers for one-on-ones.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask a ton of questions and try your best to take charge. Also, make sure to understand what is being told to you and what is expected of you, always ask questions to clarify.
