Since 1925, Camp Wakeshma has earned the deserved reputation for conducting a balanced program of recreation and learning experiences. Our qualified and dedicated staff is committed to making the experience at Camp Wakeshma a significant contribution to each child’s personal growth. We are currently seeking individuals that believe in the possibilities and strengths of today’s youth. Basic Facts about Camp Wakeshma:
Located on Corey Lake, 6 miles west of Three Rivers, MI in St. Joseph County.
We are entering our 92nd summer, so we have a long, proud history and many important traditions.
Most weeks have boys and girls ages 10-15.
Junior Campers Week has boys and girls ages 8-12.
We host 132 campers per week.
We are a fairly rustic camp and like to keep things simple. That means no fancy ropes courses or skateparks for us. Some of our activities include:

Waterfront Description:
“Big swim area”: 60 ft. x 90 ft. with 40 ft. long T-shaped dock with 2 ladders and a 10 ft. “high dive,” 8 ft. x 10ft. floating mat, depth: 2 ft. to 20 ft. deep
“Little swim area”: 30 ft. x 60 ft. with a 30 ft. dock on either side, depth: 1 to 3 feet deep
"Boating area" serves as a launch for our watercraft.
