It was a life changing experience to work with individuals with special needs. I learned not only a lot about the joys and challenges of living with special needs, but also a lot about myself and how I interact with others.
What I wish was different
Better food, some updated facilities to cater to the campers
Advice
You need to be willing to get “down and dirty”, and be prepared for stressful moments, but also to have fun.
