Camp Counselors monitor dog play in yards with dogs of all sizes to keep them safe, happy and healthy during their stay. Counselors will observe and learn animal behavior, learn general care for dogs including general health checks, cleaning, mopping, and scrubbing play yards and cabins. Feeding and medicating dogs properly as well as dog washes, nail trims, and other grooming services may be included. Other janitorial duties may also include restocking supplies, trash removal and basic kennel and play yard maintenance.
