On-campus student employment not only provides students with a means of earning money, it also provides students an opportunity to develop new skills and positive work habits which will ensure professional success. Each year a limited number of part-time, on-campus positions are made available for eligible CSUSB students. Students are expected to consistently execute job responsibilities in a satisfactory manner. Job duties will vary depending on the department and supervisor.
A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who apply for the position . All CSUSB students who apply for on-campus employment shall adhere to this policy.
