Our department offers BA degrees in Sociology and Criminology. We also offer minors in Sociology. We comprise two of the many exciting academic disciplines within the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences, and our students and faculty are committed to Cal Poly Pomona's "learn by doing" philosophy. The mission of the Sociology Department is to prepare students for success at school, work, home, and in society through involvement in education, research, and professional activities.
