I wish pay would of been different! Many restaurants pay $5.15 an hour instead of $2.13

I like getting paid at the end of every shift and having the opportunity to make more than I would with an hourly wage. I also like the type of interaction I can get with other people, it has made me a more social person.

I wish that management acted more like leaders.

Advice

Do not get stuck in food service for the rest of your life, there are good days and bad days, but you can do a lot more with your life when you make a steady salary.

I enjoy working with the public. I know that's crazy but, being a communications major, I value working with the public and gaining real-world experience. I also make money while doing it so that's nice.

LOL dealing with the public. We all wish it is easier than it is but its sadly not.

Friendliness will take you so far with dealing with the public. It is really hard to be mean to a server that shows respect and kindness through everything.
