I loved the encouragement that I received from the staff on a daily basis. They understood I was learning, and they helped me improved instead of focusing on what I wasn’t doing well.
What I wish was different
I wish I had had a more defined role as far as what I was going to be doing, how I would be doing the job, and what was expected of me in the position.
Advice
This experience allowed me to grow as an individual, and it provided a safe place for me to mess up in order to improve further. If anyone is considering going into an internship with Bridges, I would encourage them to be fully prepared to step out of their comfort zones because that’s the only way to embrace the growth.
