Best Impressions Caterers is a Charlotte, NC catering firm founded in 1989. It operates as four distinct catering divisions: Best Impressions Caterers, Byron’s South End, The Terrace at Cedar Hill and The Grill & Picnic Company. Housed in a state-of-the art 24,000 sq. ft. facility, the production kitchen and offices located in the heart of South End routinely handle several hundred events or more per month. Best Impressions Caterers provides culinary services for a wide range of discerning corporate, philanthropic and social clients. The Grill & Picnic Company is designed to handle large-scale company picnics, back yard gatherings and social events on a more casual basis. Byron’s South End, The Design Center Atrium, and The Terrace at Cedar Hill serve as host venues for corporate business functions, wedding and social gatherings and philanthropic galas. In addition to being listed as a preferred caterer on many of the city's premier events venues, Best Impressions is also the exclusive food, beverage and equipment provider for Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens.
Dave Byron, President of Best Impressions Caterers, has assembled an impressive team of leadership that is well respected in the catering field. Vice President of Sales & Operations, Justin King is an industry veteran who oversees a team of sales and event coordinators that collaborate with clients on executing the menu and logistics of each event. The Best Impressions Caterers kitchen staff is managed under the direction of Johnson & Wales Alumni and Executive Chef Andrew Donner, Executive Pastry Chef Cassi Cardwell, and Chef de Cuisine Joseph Pantano. This group is supported by a number of well-trained, experienced sous chefs, cooks and pastry cooks, banquet managers, and operations managers who lead service captains and service staff that are the integral part of all successful events.
The events team at Best Impressions has become known and trusted as the area's premier upscale special events caterer.
