Advice
Take a deep breath. Maintain cordial relationships with professors and keep updating them of your circumstances even after the class you are taking with them is over. Your peers may say that grades are not important but always try to do the best you can in your class. Also, be open to applying heuristic methods of learning. During any kind of research, while your advisor will introduce you to the topics, a lot of information will not be spoon-fed to you. So you have to read and learn various statistical tools yourself.
