Being able to tutor kids in the subject areas that they struggle in as well as being a mentor to them to teach them how to do the right things in life to achieve your goals no matter what people say.

More collaboration with the other camps to get everyone involved as well as to get to know each other

What I liked
Working ten minutes from home made for easy mornings. My coworkers, for the most part, became fast friends and someone I knew I could lean on. I loved working with the kids especially since I want to be a teacher.
What I wish was different
I wish that everyone knew what they were getting into before the camp started. Many of the other counselors didn't know we were going to tutor for two hours a day and that behavior management was going to play such a crucial role in how that day went.
Advice
I think it is an amazing opportunity for anyone wanting to be a teacher it is a combination of school and fun so it teaches you a lot.
