I like the staff and getting to learn about accounting from them.

What I wish was different

I wish I knew more about accounting before I did this. I was not ready and did not know much yet.

Advice

I would say to wait until senior year or graduation to do internships. You need to know a lot before doing an internship.

Marketing Intern

What I liked

I really enjoyed the environment at AVI Foodsystems. All of the employees, even the ones outside of the marketing department were super kind and respectful. I had so many opportunities to learn and take on big responsibilities. Most of all, I had fun while doing it.

What I wish was different

I wish I had been able to work more often. However, due to my schedule I was only able to work 15 hours per week.

Advice

My advice is to always go into work with a good attitude and to treat others with respect and kindness. Go above and beyond in your daily tasks and don't be afraid to ask questions.
