What I liked

I was given a lot of responsibility very early on and was always treated as an equal member of the team. Everyone at the company is incredibly intelligent and members are always willing to sit down and share their wisdom with you.

What I wish was different

There is no legitimate internship program. The company is currently developing a more structured one for coding and technology positions, and has one for post graduate students. All other departments do not have structure, so sometimes you have to push to learn more about the company as a whole.

Advice

AutoGrid is a very small company, and it’s very clear from early on that there is no time to waste. Everyone is always very busy and the workplace can sometimes feels quite hectic. You’ll succeed if you don’t get easily overwhelmed and are able to go with the flow.
