If you’re interested in something just ask. Don’t assume that because there’s no official posting for a position that you cannot be accepted for it.

What I liked
I really enjoyed the opportunity to get a realistic view of how research is done as a profession, I loved thinking about potential directions to go with research projects and reading papers that would lead to new ideas or support old ones.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to dedicate more time to research over the summer. I did not realize in the beginning how time consuming research could be.
Advice
Always be open to learning something new and seeing things in a new light. In this position, you have to be proactive to succeed.

I liked that they included MCAT prep classes and a chance to shadow doctors.

I wish that there was more flexibility in the MCAT class.

Its a great experience for people who are interested in going into the medical field.
