What I liked

I was exposed to a number of Audio books and got to write articles about my experiences in English classes.

What I wish was different

It is very computer based and I wished to interact more with the people in my team and other interns.

Advice

It is important to listen to books in order to keep fresh vocabulary as well as network with people.

What I liked

The culture is amazing and everyone is ready to help you. The company is not afraid to do what it takes to make you happy and the environment is good for learning and feeling like a part of the team.

What I wish was different

I wish there were more intern events but the intern housing did allow us to create our own socials.

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask questions and connect with people outside your team, floor. department, company! Use the fact that you're at an Amazon company and find out as much as you can about what working in different areas is like! Everyone has awesome experiences to share and learn from.

What I liked

I got to work in a team to develop a core project that would be used for the company. I learned a lot during my time interning at the company as we used a lot of different programs/framework for our projects.

What I wish was different

I wish that there was more of a mentorship aspect in regards to the program. The program was more so the company throwing the interns at these challenges and making them figure it out. It was fun, but having a mentor throughout the internship would have been rewarding.

Advice

Being an intern at a top company is a lot of work because there's a lot competition. If you want to be the best, especially with getting a full time offer, you're going to have to know the team well and really be a team player. Culture is big aspect of being apart of Audible, and work ethic is another aspect that they look at.

What I liked

This internship was amazing! There was always something new to learn every day and everyone at the workplace was extremely helpful and patient. Lunch was also provided every single day, plus unlimited snacks and a ton of fun events.
