I absolutely love this job! The environment is amazing and it is so rewarding to be working in the field that I went to school for. I enjoy working with students in small group settings to aid them in their communication.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have shadowed more during my undergraduate. My major did not really come with a practicum so I wish I could have had more experience through shadowing. This would have helped me to feel more prepared for when I started this job.
Advice
It can be tricky to find your dream job but just keep trying, get experience in your field before applying, have good references by forming real relationships with people and practice before going to an interview.
