It was a very open internship in terms of how we interacted with the other engineers and how they really treated their interns with care and with an intent of wanting them to learn more about civil engineering and how it works in the "real world"
What I wish was different
I wish I did more different types of things while at this internship like going out onto the field instead of staying in the office.
Advice
To take every opportunity, whether it is mundane or the most interesting thing in the world, as an opportunity to grow and to learn. Because you never know when or not you would use the skills you learn at an internship or a job.
