Everyone was passionate about Asian art, and my supervisor cared a lot about her interns. She gave us meaningful tasks, and we got to meet important people in the industry. I also got along very well with my fellow interns.
What I wish was different
I wish my supervisor were less busy and had more one-on-one time with me. I also wish things moved faster so that I could see more directly the impact of my work.
Advice
Know what you want to get out of the internship before it begins, and be proactive in negotiating new opportunities and challenges for yourself.
