What I liked

The team was super collaborative and open to my learning experiences, just as they were to the learners in their studios, Spark and Discovery. I was able to interact with learners in an open-minded way, and activate my own curiosity with the world through my interactions with them. I was also able to give my own opinion and feedback to the guides and ask for feedback from them

What I wish was different

There is not much I would change about my time there as an intern. In fact, I had hoped my time with the academy had been longer! The one thing I would change is just on my end, and it would be to read up more on the concept that the studios and learning environment was based off of, to have a better understanding before becoming a part of it.

Advice

The learners are more experienced in their studio than you are, so it is okay for you to ask them for help in your role as a guide. They do not need to be taught, and they can learn on their own, and when in doubt, step back and just observe them.
