The support of the managers within the company and team atmosphere of the internship was great. I loved being able to get experience of leading a team to meet daily and long term sales goals. Our team ended up being highly successful, however cold calling was also a lot of work and we found it very challenging. Because of team's positive atmosphere, we were able to be the top sales team for 6 consecutive weeks within the internship out of 250 other sales teams.
What I wish was different
The pay was not great for how much we had to travel throughout the day to different businesses within the Miami/ Coral Gables area.
Advice
This is a great internship for anyone who is looking to gain experience within the sales industry. For this internship come prepared to work hard, be challenged, and gain a lot of friends throughout the internship.
