Civil Engineering Intern
June - August 2019 • Walla Walla, WA
What I liked
The community was amazing and everybody was really excited for me to be there. No one hesitated or minded my many questions and I learned a lot.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to go earlier to spend more time there. My background check took half of the summer so my experience was short.
Advice
Don't be shy to apply. Internships are hard to get and government jobs seem to be scarier to apply for. My advice is to apply for them all because you'll never know what you'll learn or who you'll meet.
