The Lending Development Team I worked with was incredible. As a full stack developer there was a lot to learn and every assignment I saw a new side of the application. However, the team really helped me to learn and solve these problems on my own, and the manager was able to assign me work that was challenging but not impossible for my skill level.
What I wish was different
Honestly, nothing. Excellent work environment, excellent work and social balance, excellent pay, excellent step in my career, the list goes on. This job decided for me that my career lies in software development.
Advice
When a company offers you a part time job during the school semesters, take it. Very valuable for your resume but also allows you to see the work environment when it isn't set in the summer internship program. To get a good job once you graduate you need to have work experience, a diploma isn't good enough. On a personal note, during college is the only time in your career where you can hop jobs every year. Once you work full time, it is very difficult to get that diverse exposure.
