The team is incredibly personable and was always willing to help better elaborate financial documents, databases, and processes that the firm used to help me better understand my role.
What I wish was different
There was a heavy emphasis on a summer project and I would've liked to have sat in on more meetings. That being said when I addressed this to my manager he was more than willing to maneuver my schedule to allow me to sit in on any meeting I asked to partake in.
Advice
This internship can help get your foot in the door as a financial para-planner and will give you all the experience you want from it. Work hard and the benefits are boundless.
