What I liked

I loved the people I worked with and for. It was a very supportive and uplifting environment. All of the supervisors and our managers were always willing to lend a helping hand. We were all on the same team and helped and covered one another. I also loved all of the people I was able to meet as far as the workers and guests at the ball park.

What I wish was different

I learned so much during my time at PNC Park. The only thing that I didn't love was the hours. This was something I knew I was getting into into the hospitality industry. The fact that the ballpark is outside and we are subjected to the elements was not always fun but it was part of the experience.

Advice

I would say step out of your comfort zone and meet as many of the managers and supervisors as soon as you can. Also, always say yes and work hard. My managers noticed me because of how hard I was willing to work, how much I was willing to help others, and how much they could rely on me.
