Working within several different departments gave each day variety with new challenges to work on. And by assisting in different areas it was possible for me to learn several new skills and constantly be working with new people, making connections.
What I wish was different
Initially my manager was not an engineer, which seemed to be counter-productive to me as an engineering based intern. Working under an engineer the entire summer, I feel would have been better for my learning experience.
Advice
Be willing to ask questions, people won't just know that you need help. People at Anderson-Negele are very friendly and willing to help you with whatever you need!
