“Challenging, given a lot of independence and responsibility but also worked with a great, supportive team. Loved the equal collaboration with our partner agency and local youth. Got to know multiple communities in a particular region of the country. Excellent for structured professional development and growth. Thorough and constructive feedback is built into the Amigos model. Mix of being traveling alone and living with a team. All expenses are paid, including flights, but no further stipend is given.”
