I had a great opportunity to become a student leader and learn more about the solar industry. My coordinator and advisor throughout the process was also extremely helpful and a great resource.
What I wish was different
Because of the pandemic, the internship moved to the fall. This was challenging because I was doing classwork throughout the internship as well, but it also taught me to be efficient and manage my time.
Advice
Don't underestimate yourself! You are capable of doing so many things - I never thought I'd be able to be a student leader in an unfamiliar industry but it's ended up being one of the most positive experiences of my entire college career!
