Working for ALEC was a great experience, and it allowed me to combine my love for politics, with my interest in business and public affairs. The employees and intern coordinators were extremely helpful throughout the summer program.
What I wish was different
This is an unpaid internship with specific reimbursements for work expenses, travel, and food. A specific salary per hour would have helped.

I loved getting to go to New Orleans for the Annual Meeting. The work environment was fantastic, very friendly but also professional
