I was moved around a lot, and often had to seek out projects to do.

Be open to any opportunity given to you, you will make amazing connections even if it is not what you may want to do in the future.

What I liked

I enjoyed all of my time spent at the Amen Clinic in San Francisco, Bay Area. I assisted the receptionists with making appointments for patients, reminding them of their appointments, and setting them up for testing. Additionally, I was given the opportunity to shadow a psychiatrist. I loved the family atmosphere in the clinic between the case managers, receptionists, and psychiatrists.

What I wish was different

I would not have changed anything about my experience.

Advice

One piece of advice I would share about this experience is to remain organized. Keep a list of to-do's because you could get a lot of tasks all at once.
