Software Engineer Intern

What I liked

Working in an international office gave me unique insights into the world of software engineering, and Amazon's scale gave me cool challenges I would struggle to find elsewhere. I was able to really enjoy holidays and weekends by exploring a new country and culture.

What I wish was different

I should've learned more Japanese to enjoy my time off better!

Advice

Learn, and be curious - a major principle of Amazon's core beliefs that is something interns should keep at heart. In a company as massive and fast paced as Amazon, there isn't a single day where I felt like I wasn't going to learn something new.
