Amalgamated Sugar, with roots reaching back to 1897, facilitates all areas of sugarbeet growth and sugar production. We are the second-largest US sugarbeet processor, growing sugarbeets on approximately 180,000 acres in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. We manufacture industrial and retail sugar products marketed under the brand White Satin. We also produce and sell beet pulp, molasses, and other nutritious feed products for use by food and animal-feed manufacturers.
Since 1997, Snake River Sugar Company has had operating control of Amalgamated Sugar. Snake River Sugar Company is a cooperative comprised of over 750 sugarbeet growers in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
