What I liked
I absolutely loved my experience at Altamont. Not only did I learn something new everyday about financial modeling, building out investment theses and how to continue to create value for companies post transaction, but I also truly enjoyed the people. Altamont fosters a highly supportive environment with a great work life balance and people you will enjoy working with everyday.
What I wish was different
I wouldn't change anything.

Take advantage of the great work opportunities Altamont offers, and make sure to meet all the wonderful people!

What I liked
I really enjoyed my internships at Altamont (SSA and AI). I loved getting to know everyone there, whether it was the people I directly worked with or in passing around the office. Everyone there is nice and super intelligent, and you can learn a lot about the buy side. It's a smaller class than most internships, so you get a lot of exposure to all aspects of the new deal process, as well as the portfolio side.

Try to build a relationship with the people that work there and have a great attitude. You will make mistakes, but everyone at the firm is really supportive and wants you to succeed.
