What I liked
The projects they gave me were both extremely educational, but also important to the company. The projects that did not get finished, were picked up by full-time engineers to be completed. Everyone was very willing to help if you approached them, but they didn't watch over your shoulder. On top of that, I was able to gain a lot of professional experience by conducting meetings, and giving presentations over the progress of my projects. The internship was organized with many planned events to expose us to different parts of the company, including a meet and greet with the executives, parts familiarization class, transmission audit/teardown, and many other opportunities to explore the company via your boss, coworkers, or mentor.
