Allen, Gibbs & Houlik, L.C.'s roots were planted in the central U.S. more than 75 years ago through our predecessor firm. A strong emphasis on both technical excellence and client service brought steady growth to the firm over the years, leading to a 15-year affiliation with a national CPA firm. In 1987, six entrepreneurial partners recognized an opportunity to combine the highly skilled accounting and consulting professionals and the specialized services available within a larger firm with the relationship-building focus of a smaller, independently owned organization; this formed the basis of AGH today.
Since then, AGH has grown into one of the largest CPA and advisory firms in the central U.S. While the firm's tax and audit services remain traditional strengths, AGH leadership has created numerous new services and products based on identified client needs. An entrepreneurial, innovative approach to creating business solutions for clients characterizes AGH. The result: a firm that's increased client service activities fivefold since 1987 through broadening our client base, rather than by acquiring or merging with other firms.
