I liked being able to have a hands on experience with the other probation officers as well as the juveniles. I also got to experience the juvenile court system as well.
What I wish was different
I wish I did more training like activities vs more of a shadowing like activities

Great to see hot the different problems of a city were handled and tackled.

I had more of an opportunity to have experience in the criminal justice side of human services.
Advice
Be prepared to read a hefty load of documents and then have the ability to condense and summarize for your superior.
