Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation runs an amazing summer internship program! They gave me the opportunity to see what it was like to work in a nonprofit environment while developing my event planning and photography skills. My team was extremely helpful throughout the entire program, teaching me new skills along the way. The entire staff made it their mission to help the interns and make us feel welcome.

Nonprofit work is extremely rewarding especially at ALSF. You are able to see first hand the impact the organization is making. Their mission is really important to them and is something that drives their everyday work. If given the opportunity to get involved with ALSF in any way, I highly recommend it.

What I liked
I enjoyed working in a smaller department within the larger non-profit organization. I worked directly with my manager and all other members of the team on projects that started out as ideas at the beginning of my internship and then were produced and implemented by the end. At Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), I saw first hand the impact of my work because I participated in some of ALSF's larger fundraising events and even was able to organize my own fundraiser with some other interns.

What I liked
It was an amazing experience, ALSF gave me an opportunity to get stronger as a filmmaker and had plenty of opportunities for me to do what I love and to make a difference.

If you get the opportunity to work for them I cannot reccomend it highly enough.
